bills, bills bills and more bills
I really need to work on how I manage my cash. It seems that the amount that I receive every month right now, is just barely enough to meet my expenses. I think that I’m really spending too much at the moment, and I really need to dig into the details of my finances, so that I can figure out where all the money is going, and how I can actually begin to save some of it. I’m still pretty young right now, but that’s just no excuse for continuing to behave like a kid. Right now, I don’t even have an emergency fund, so if something comes up where I’ll need to spend on something important immediately, I wouldn’t have any funds to fall back on.
It’s almost time for me to renew car tax payments on my vehicle, for instance, but at this point I’m not sure where I’ll be getting the money for that. I just spend too much on unnecessary things unfortunately. My nightmare scenario is that I’ll find myself still in this same bind, ten years from now. I’ll be approaching the age where I’m supposed to start a family, but then I won’t have even a bit of savings yet. I really hope that won’t happen to me.
I also need to look up online information on motoring convictions DVLA penalty points and durations. I’m not going to go into the details, but I’m beginning to worry that I might be getting close to the upper limit of what is allowed. So I need to find out what exactly the upper limit is, and how long it takes for some of the points I currently have to expire, so that I can have a bit more breathing room. Improving my driving is something that I also clearly need to work on unfortunately.
