Shopping for a new or used car can be quite the challenge now.  The current economy, state of the market, and even the internet have changed the way to go about car shopping.   Where to begin is almost as hard as what to choose. We can use Ford as an example.  If we assume that you want to buy a Cheap Ford we can go through a scenario and see where it leads.   I guess the first thing we want to know is if we are looking for a new or used car.

Part of the problem with making that decision is that the pre-owned car market is quite different today than it was 20 years ago.  Pre-owned cars can come from car rental companies or leased vehicles that have been returned and so they tend to be in much better condition and many even come with a decent warranty.   So were we to say we want a Cheap Ford we have to decide if we want a cheap new or used car.

So let’s now assume that we want to purchase a new Cheap Ford.  We can began either by heading out to the nearest Ford dealer or we can go online and look at some of the popular sites  or even the website of the nearest dealers in your area.   The process gets a little easier from here, since all we are doing at this point is looking through the least expensive Ford models on these sites.   Once we find the model we are looking for then we can do a price comparison between the listings and then cross reference them with Kelly Blue Book.  Because we are looking for a new car, the dealerships should have the best offers and incentives.

With a decent trade in we should be able to get our Cheap Ford for a a very good price. Alternatively we could look for a Cheap Ford by looking for a higher end model that is pre-owned.  That would mean looking through a much wider variety of listings and having a much better position to haggle on price.
